I aim to bring in more funding and investment which will be used in attracting and retaining healthcare professionals by offering competitive salaries, housing assistance, and professional development opportunities.
Establish mobile clinics in underserved areas to provide essential healthcare services ensuring no Resident is left behind. Propose Increase funding for preventive care programs like regular health screenings and public health campaigns, to address any health issues at early stages.
Strengthening Mental Health and Crisis Services
I will push for Increasing funding for mental health services, ensuring that residents have access to timely and effective care.
Establish 24/7 crisis helplines and online support platforms for those in urgent need of mental health assistance.
Work towards partnering with schools, universities, and workplaces to implement proactive mental health initiatives, including stress management programs and peer support groups.
Supporting Immigrant and Family Services
I will work towards increase funding for translation services in healthcare and well-being, ensuring language is never a barrier to accessing care. Clear, accessible guidance materials in multiple languages will help immigrants navigate these systems with ease.
