Every child deserves access to quality education and affordable childcare. Overcrowded schools and limited daycare options strain families. I would work to allocate more funds to hire more daycare and school teachers, reduce class sizes, upgrading school facilities, and expand childcare programs.
Work towards providing funding for introducing after-school programs for students in Classes 1-9 focusing on STEM, arts, and sports to nurture diverse talents and help children develop new skills.
Promoting Local Entrepreneurship
Small businesses power Vantaa's economy but face barriers like bureaucracy and funding gaps. I aim to simplify and digitize Licensing and regulatory processes, making it easier to start and operate businesses in Vantaa. I aim to work toards creating innovation hubs and co-working spaces in Vantaa, offering entrepreneurs access to resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities. Organize regular business Expos to connect entrepreneurs with potential investors and collaborators.
Working for Integration of Internationals
Immigrants play a vital role in the growth of Vantaa Municipality. Immigrants face hurdles like language difficulties, limited access to employment, and social isolation. I aim to expand free or subsidized Finnish language courses to help immigrants integrate into the community and workforce. Work towards Increasing avenues to partner with local businesses to create job placement programs for immigrants, ensuring access to meaningful employment, including guidance on education and healthcare.
